Internship (Introductory Course Required)
(6 months - Non-Paid/ Entry-Level)
Our Event Coordinator internships support the process of planning a wedding, party, festival, corporate event or convention for clients big and small. The experience that you'll gain from our internship can be as varied as the events themselves. Are you interested in pursuing a career as an Event Planner? You'll find our internship will enable you to get on the fast track to gain the experience necessary and sustain a long-term, exciting career.
Experience in the following is preferred, but not required:
- Event Coordination & Planning (Fundraisers/Non-Profit, Corporate, Special Events, Weddings)
- Administrative or Executive Assistant
- Advertising Sales, Internet Marketing, Promotions or Sales Assistant
- College course credits or degree in Hospitality, Marketing & Event Planning
Requirements:
Wedding & Special Event Introductory Course (21/2 - 3 hours)

Wedding & Special Event Planner (Internship Required)
The responsibility of a wedding planner is an exciting and challenging one. QuickCare is looking for individuals who are interested in working with couples and helping to plan their "Big Day"!
(Territories available throughout the United States)
Characteristics of a professional Wedding Planner:
- Detail Oriented & Organized
- Good with Budget Analysis & Expense Reports
- High energy, outgoing, flexible, self-starter
- Professional communication skills (proper etiquette & dictation when using e-mail, on phone calls and during consultations with clients)
- Customer service-oriented
- Creativity and Effectiveness
- Familiar with the Internet & Graphic Design Work for promotional items
- Familiar with Interior or Event Design
Requirements:
- 6 month Internship with QuickCare Event Planners
- Knowledge of top wedding venues & vendors in the Tampa Market a plus+!
- Marketing Skills a MUST have for this industry
- Familiarity with local businesses within your regional area a great start
- Wedding Planning Certification desired, but not required
- Home or other Internet enabled office with PC/Windows capabilities
- Telephone, E-mail, MS Office, or MS Word and MS Excel

Personal Assistant
- Prior experience in any of the following fields preferred: Customer Service, Concierge, Personal Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, or other related personal services field
- Applicant MUST be extremely organized & familiar with email, spreadsheets, MS Word and basic computer knowledge
