QuickCare Event Planners Internship Program offers a unique opportunity to work with the one of the most reputable & talented event planning companies in the Tampa Bay Area. We are proud of the reputation we have earned over the years by developing consistent, high level service throughout the pre-event, event and post-event follow-up and reporting phases.
We offer an exciting Internship for enthusiastic individuals who are serious about their career path & gaining the experience necessary to become successful in this industry. During your training, you will develop strong, positive relationships with clients and will have the chance to be involved throughout all stages of the event planning process. This would include sales and promotion, client discovery, planning, all event documentation and coordination to ensure that the event is executed successfully, meets and exceeds client expectations.
This is an opportunity to become an integral part of our team with essential duties & responsibilities. Therefore, in order to be considered for this position, you will be required to attend & successfully complete our Wedding & Special Event Introductory Course.
Is there a fee for the Wedding & Special Event Introductory Course?
The cost for the Introductory Course is $295.00. We invite only 1 applicant per session, to ascertain that you will receive our undivided attention and to ensure our Director may be able to answer all of your questions. Our time is important, therefore we appreciate & consider serious inquiries only please.
How long does the course typically last? 2 1/2 - 3 hours depending on how many questions and/or ideas are discussed.

What is the next step?
At the conclusion of the Introductory Course, applicants may be given the opportunity to become part of our team, initially as an Intern (6 months) and then as an Event Coordinator. Naturally, Interns must, in the opinion of the Director, meet the qualifications, standards, ethics, and ideals necessary to successfully and responsibly serve the client as a professional Event Coordinator. Our Event Coordinators play a critical role in our success & we look forward to assisting you achieve that same success with us!
When and where does the Introductory Course take place?
Sessions are scheduled by appointment and are held once a month at The Grand Hyatt, Tampa Bay, Florida.
What should I bring to my Introductory Course?
Please bring the following:
- Professional copy of your resume, Pen, Highlighter & Note Paper
- At least 3 references (professional only)
- Portfolio of your work: Photos of fashion, décor elements or events that you have helped design/plan. Even magazine clippings that show designs that appeal to you. This way we can get an idea of your taste and style.
- Questions. Whatever they are, jot them down. We'll do our best to answer all of them!
